Microsoft Revives Exam Second Shot Program

Exam retake program provides opportunity for candidates to retake a failed exam; registration is required.

Microsoft has revived its popular exam retake program, which allows candidates for any IT professional, developer, or Dynamics exams to retake an exam soon after a test taker has failed an exam. The program is available worldwide at all Prometric testing centers.

According to information posted on Microsoft's Web site, candidates must register into the second-shot program prior to registering for an exam. Once registered, candidates can apply for one free retake after failing any qualifying exam. Microsoft recommends that test takers wait at least a day after taking a failed exam before registering for a retake.

Test takers can apply the free retake for each paid exam.

The exam retake program runs until January 30, 2008. To learn more, click here.
