Easy Mail Merge for Outlook 1.1 from
DS Development helps users
to create and send personalized e-mails to a mailing list for e-mail newsletters,
business announcements or marketing campaigns. The Microsoft Outlook plug-in
can create mail merge sessions from various sources, including Outlook Contacts,
Outlook distribution lists or fields imported from CSV files. Easy Mail Merge
works with Outlook 2000 and up. A downloadable version costs $39.95.

Unlimi-Tech Software claims its new FileCatalyst software
can help transfer files over IP networks up to 30 times faster than FTP. The
Java-based software plug-in is powered by technology from Digital Fountain,
Inc. and is available for Windows, Linux, Solaris and OS X operating systems.

Prism Microsystems, Inc. announced the immediate availability of StatusTracker,
a networking monitoring software that keeps track of resource availability including
systems, Web resources and ports. StatusTracker delivers alerts and performance
reports on a range of devices, Web sites and applications. The basic version,
which can monitor up to 100 devices, is free. StatusTracker Deluxe can monitor
up to 250 devices and is priced at $249. For unlimited device support, StatusTracker

Sunbelt Software announced at Microsoft’s TechEd 2005 conference
in Orlando, Fla., the latest version of its enterprise antispyware solution,
CounterSpy Enterprise. Version 1.5 features desktop spyware protection
with new Active Protection Monitors that observe system and application changes,
Internet activity and other potential security threats. The upgrade also offers

UltraBac Software released updates for both Pro and Gold editions of
UBDR, the company’s image-based disaster recovery software. UBDR 2.0
now includes P2V (physical to virtual) support for VMware servers, USB and FireWire
storage devices, and Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS). Pricing starts
from $595 per server with back-up ability for an unlimited number of workstations.

ATEN Technology Inc. recently released a new dual-view KVM solution
with USB functionality. The new MasterView Dual-View CS-1744 is a four-port,
high-density KVM switch that allows users to control up to four dual-view computers
with VGA, SVGA or MultiSync monitors, with support for up to 2048 x 1536 resolution.
The CS-1744 also features a two-port USB hub that allows each computer to share
